Hier bestattet sind sowohl Häftlinge des Lagers Engerau als auch des Lagers für ungarisch-jüdische Zwangsarbeiter des Lagers in Bruck/Leitha, das ebenfalls Ende März 1945 evakuiert wurde. Gemeinsam wurden die Häftlinge von Bad Deutsch-Altenburg auf Schiffen donauaufwärts nach Mauthausen gebracht.
